Alwyndor delivers high-quality Support at Home services that help people across Adelaide’s southern metro communities live independently and well in their own homes. These services are complemented by residential aged care, respite, transitional care, and a range of allied health, therapy and wellness programs.
About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Executive Manager Community Connections, you’ll play a pivotal leadership role—providing direction, coaching and support to a team of Care Partners and frontline employees. You’ll be instrumental in strengthening service quality, building team capability and ensuring every client receives a positive, consistent experience.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll balance people leadership with operational oversight, helping to drive performance, innovation and the ongoing growth of the Support at Home program.
What You’ll Be Doing
Create a positive, inclusive team culture that champions collaboration and service excellence
Lead day-to-day service delivery to ensure high-quality, consistent client outcomes
Coach and develop staff through regular supervision, mentoring and performance conversations
Oversee caseload management and workforce planning to optimise service delivery
Proactively manage risks, incidents and client feedback with professionalism and care
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to organisational growth
Ensure services are delivered in line with legislation, regulatory standards and organisational policies
About You
You’re a confident, values-driven leader who thrives on developing people and improving service outcomes. With strong operational experience in community aged care, you bring a practical, solutions-focused approach and a genuine passion for supporting older people to live well at home.
You will also have:
Demonstrated experience in an aged care leadership or coordinator role (5+ years preferred)
Certificate IV in Leadership and Management (or working towards)
Strong knowledge of aged care legislation, standards and compliance requirements
Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
A commitment to client-centred service delivery and continuous improvement
Certificate IV in Community Services (Desirable)
You must also be willing to obtain a National Police Certificate before commencing employment as well as a functional assessment.
