Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Director, Program Performance, the Manager, Systems leads the design, development and operation of the Capital Intelligence Portal (CIP)/Queensland Health Infrastructure Portal (QHIP) applications suite. The Manager, Systems sets and upholds engineering standards across the stack and ensures a reliable, secure and cost-effective Azure service. The role also involves driving continuous improvement within the agreed architecture and includes coaching developers and vendors in modern practices.
Key responsibilities
Act as the technical authority for QHIP: set architecture and engineering standards, make final technical determinations, represent the platform in design forums.
Design and develop performant, maintainable and testable code in C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, REST and OData services, Angular, Kendo UI and SQL Server.
Own end to end delivery of complex features and improvements from discovery and design through build, test, security review, deployment and monitoring, and translate product priorities into implementation plans
Embed compliance with security, privacy, records and accessibility standards by applying secure by design practices.
Monitor service health and performance, lead incident and problem management with root cause analysis and continuous improvement
