We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role Manager – Taxation, GSC’s
Principal responsibilities:
·Experienced Tax Professional with a proven track record of delivering income tax returns and Tax accounting for Financial Reporting obligations within a large scale financial services entity with 6+ years of experience.
·Strong technical understanding of tax requirements underpinning tax regulatory reporting and financial reporting.
·Understanding of financial products and how they impact reporting requirement, and more generically the banking business, balance sheet and P&L.
·Self-motivated, confident, creative and capable of working effectively autonomously as well as part of a team
·Managing delivery of statutory accounts audit materials.
·To provide support and guidance to various stakeholders with respect to tax queries
·To ensure that tax regulators’ queries are appropriately answered including deliver of data to support for tax function or tax consultant in relation to tax authorities’ enquiries or tax appeals
·Works closely with Data Operations, Financial Accounting, Risk Chief Data Office, Financial Control and Finance Change Delivery teams
·Understand stakeholders' objectives, direction, priorities and challenges, managing and addressing concerns and objections.
