Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Office Manager/Head Housekeeper to lead our team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional service. This role is crucial in ensuring that all areas are clean, well-maintained, and welcoming for guests. This is a small hotel, 15 rooms. So it has more a of bed and breakfast feel, but there is no breakfast. We pride ourselves on wonderful clean rooms and great customer service.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the front desk and housekeeping department to ensure cleanliness and organization throughout the facility.
Manage and train front desk and housekeeping staff, providing guidance on best practices in customer service and cleaning.
Develop and implement housekeeping procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are available at all times.
Address guest inquiries or complaints promptly and professionally.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and professional development.
Requirements
Proven experience in housekeeping management within a hospitality or hotel environment.
Strong knowledge of customer service and computer software skills.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and staff alike.
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays.
