Ankura’s Data & Technology Practice includes client services in the areas of Analytics & Data Strategy, eDiscovery & Cyber Security. Our Data & Technology team helps our internal and external customers design, execute and test innovative solutions in each of our respective areas.
Role Overview:
As a Managing Director in the Data Analytics & AI practice, you will play a crucial role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive our business forward. The role works directly with the Data & Technology senior leadership team to build an Innovation center, developing and executing go-to-market strategies, and providing industry leading solutions as it relates to Data Analytics & AI. You will be instrumental in designing and implementing scalable data architectures, advising clients on modern data platforms, optimizing data flow and collection for cross-functional teams, and ensuring the integrity and availability of data.
This role will be remote, located in India.
Responsibilities:
• Global leader for Data Architecture and Engineering - Ensuring that our internal and external clients consider and are driving toward industry-leading data and tech enablement and leverage
• Innovation Lead responsible for driving innovation and fostering a culture of experimentation within Data Analytics & AI practice
• Thought Leadership and Evangelism - Serve as a thought leader within the organization on data and analytics innovation, sharing knowledge and best practices
• Market research and analysis, GTM strategy development, and Sales enablement
• Responsible for spearheading new data architecture solutions and technological enhancements to support data-driven capabilities working closely with practice leaders
• Responsible for innovating and enhancing the D&T business group technological capabilities and offerings
• Designing data-centric products and services for the practice/company to help drive new revenue opportunities working closely with managing directors and the practice leader
• Providing guidance and oversight for development from design through implementation
• Working with practice architects/consultants to ensure the integration of modern technologies and tech delivery processes to realize success
• Participating in project delivery to include managing teams that are responsible for client solutions, delivery, and suppor
• Guide and collaborate with Agile teams in designing, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting technical solutions using a range of full-stack development tools and technologies.
Qualifications:
• BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or another analytical area
• 20+ years in Data Analytics & AI
• Experience in Consulting or Professional Services
• 10+ years of experience in Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP), providing end to end solution in Data Analytics & AI
• Strong understanding of data and analytics solutions, including market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
• Proven record of accomplishment of successfully launching and managing data and analytics solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze complex data, make data-driven decisions, and articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proven record of accomplishment of developing and implementing AI strategies (ML and Generative AI) that deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies, including deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision.
• Data warehousing experience with technologies like Redshift, Databricks, Synapse, Snowflake
• Technical experience with Distributed data/computing tools such as Kafka, Spark
• Technical experience with Container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
