Managing Director – Public Policy
About the Role: An exciting opportunity for a seasoned public policy professional to lead and grow a high-impact consulting practice. This role requires a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of public policy, exceptional client relationship skills, and a strategic mindset to shape and drive the firm’s vision in this space.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the public policy consulting strategy.
• Client Engagement: Build and manage senior-level relationships with clients, government stakeholders, and industry partners.
• Thought Leadership: Represent the firm in high-level forums, contribute to policy positions, and lead knowledge-driven initiatives.
• Policy Research & Insights: Guide research efforts and provide actionable insights to inform client strategy.
• Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of consultants and analysts.
• Business Growth: Drive business development efforts and explore new opportunities for expansion.
Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in public policy, political science, law, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of policy analysis and advocacy.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to mentor and develop teams.
Experience:
15+ years of experience in public policy consulting, government, or a related field, with at least 8-10 years experience in a leadership role, and a proven track record of client management and business development.
