JOB DESCRIPTION - Manager EDITOR

Mode of work - Work From Home
Days of work - 5 days (Monday to Friday)
Headquartered at Bangalore
Roles and Responsibilities:
● Manage a team of writers and editors, assigning projects and ensuring deadlines are
met
● Develop and enforce editorial guidelines to ensure all content meets the company's
standards and vision
● Collaborate with other departments to develop and execute content strategies that
align with business goals
● Edit and proofread content before publication to ensure accuracy, readability, and
adherence to style guidelines
● Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in content creation and
editing
● Evaluate the performance of the editorial team and provide feedback and coaching
to improve their skills and output
● Develop and maintain relationships with freelancers and other external contributors
● Manage the editorial budget and allocate resources appropriately.
Requirements:
● Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, English, or related field
● 4-5 years of experience in content creation and editing, preferably in a managerial
role
● Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
● Strong project management and organizational skills
● Ability to lead and motivate a team, and provide constructive feedback and coaching
● Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience with content management systems
(CMS)
