Your responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning and maintaining areas according to set standards and procedures
- Replenishing guest supplies
- Organizing and cleaning equipment for daily tasks, including personal equipment and chemicals
- Collecting daily allocations of rooms and keys, ensuring accurate record-keeping
- Communicating relevant information such as guest issues promptly
- Anticipating guest needs and providing efficient service
- Ensuring guest requests are promptly met with courtesy
- Reporting any damage or malfunction in hotel rooms/areas
- Maintaining equipment cleanliness and repair
- Attending daily briefings, completing assigned tasks, and reporting lost and found items
- Handling guest complaints and reporting them promptly
- Reporting unusual behavior or activities to supervisors
- Complying with health, safety, and hygiene policies
- Adhering to grooming and hygiene standards
- Attending meetings and training sessions as required
- Carrying out additional duties assigned by supervisors
- Providing valet services when needed
- Understanding guest levels and room categories
- Adhering to OH&S legislation and property safety procedures
- Logging security incidents and accidents as per hotel requirements
Qualifications required for this role include:
- Minimum 1 year of experience, preferably in a luxury hotel setting
- Post-Secondary Education or relevant qualifications in Hotel Management
