Introduction
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join the Midmarket Crusher Spares product group. You will be responsible for developing & managing the midmarket crusher spares offering to increase product competitiveness as well as increasing business profitability. This role includes the consolidation of different designs into one, optimizing the manufacturing process to realize cost savings as well as liaising with the Sourcing organization to ensure the supply and availability of finished goods are timely, cost-efficient and meet the quality standards.
In this position, you will report to Vice President of Midmarket Crusher Spares within the SVS CSP BL.

This position is mainly located in Vadodara, Gujarat, India and may require up to 20-30% travel globally.

You will join a team of crusher spares experts dedicated to leading the continued expansion of the crusher spares portfolio & business in collaboration with our market areas, adjacent business lines, distribution network and other stakeholders. Our team culture is all about high ambition and succeeding together. We are a multinational team comprised of members based in Finland, China, USA and India.
What you’ll do
Clean up the midmarket product offering and make sure all technical requirements are in order for external suppliers.
Consolidate the product portfolio in order to determine the future standard offering.
Make material change suggestions that will result in cost savings.
Reduce different product designs into one optimized design to source for inventory.
Work with sourcing & suppliers on agreed materials for cost reductions and delivery schedules utilising initiatives.
Act in the identification of continuous improvement of costs within the supply chain, continuously evaluating technical conditions and feasibility to demand improvements on quality, price and service delivered.
Support procurement in the implementation & execution of the midmarket spares sourcing strategy.
Who you are
You should be B.E / B. Tech in Mechanical Engg with minimum 3 years of work experience.
You have experience in Mining business and / or Aggregates business.
You have knowledge about the manufacturing process of crushers spare.
You have deep knowledge about castings, forgings & machining requirements
You should have knowledge about Autocad software.
You have good communication and negotiation skills.
Planning and coordination skills and the ability to effectively work with multiple stakeholders.
You have high ambition for business growth.
You must be fluent in English, both spoken and written, other language skills are seen as an benefit.
