Job description
Industry: Manufacturing
Location: East Cowes
Hours: 37 hours per week (8am - 4.30pm Mon - Thu, 07.45am -12.45pm Fri)
Days: Monday - Friday
Duration: temporary for approx. + months
Duties:
Responsible for the development of technical solutions to complex problems, working with customers and suppliers.
Design processes and implement planning from concept through to production using Zero Defect Manufacturing tool suite and lean initiatives.
Product development, first article development, configuration changes, build process definition and implementation.
Deliver technical support of manufacturing process development and integration for production including materials, tooling, part fabrication and assembly.
Ensure adherence to health and safety and regulatory standards.
Experience:
Must have expertise in Manufacturing Engineering and professional / degree qualification in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering.
Must have excellent problem solving, initiative, analytical and communication skills.
Salary: £23.37 per hour worked
