Role Summary / Purpose:
This role of Manufacturing engineer required specific project objectives for supporting new P&E procurement & process understanding of Manufacturing assembly and setting up production line for new Model interacting with CFT. In this role the incumbent will utilize his / her experience to solve cross-functional problems. Role will require to have the ability to support strategic business goals in the ME domain.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Project execution and Controls includes Planning for new assembly setup as well as Drawing changes understanding.
• Study operations sequence, material flow, and project information to determine job functions and responsibilities.
• Follow Master Project Plan, Gateways tracking to manage the project timeline and ensure the P&E are available to complete the project within on time to meet customer delivery schedule.
• Maintain Risk Register / Risk analysis and mitigation plan for any highlighted challenges across the CFT.
• Create and maintain Manufacturing Instructions, lift plans, PFD's, PFMEA, SOD, Heatmap etc.
• Good understanding on product tooling, shall be able to implicate advance tooling.
• Material non-conformity understanding to ensure quick decision making based on process and product knowledge.
• Shall be able to work as product and process expert to help / guide Operations, Quality and Supplier quality engineers.
• Flexible to Shift working.
Qualifications / Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Manufacturing Technology Engineering
• Experience: 0 to 5 years (max.)
• Strong background in the interpretation of Engineering drawings / specifications & manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, PowerPoint, Project etc.
• Knowledge of Process Engineering, Project Management, FMEA and Stakeholder Management will be preferable for experienced candidates.
