Job Requirements
• Able to clearly understand the problem definition/scope of work
• Should be able to create detailed step-by-step instructions on each process step (Manufacturing/Assembly).
• Should be able to engage with a cross-functional team of Design, Manufacturing, Quality (Internal and external)
• Must be proactive in customer initiatives and engage the relevent key stake holders move forward acquiring the project.
• Co-ordination with onsite co-ordinators and Manufacturing engineers for inputs required to create instructions
• Excellent co-ordination with the extended teams for any queries and support necessary
• Must handle all the project queries from team, mentor and build the team size.
• Co-ordination and approval with Manufacturing engineers for buy-off
• Release of documents for use on the shop floor
Work Experience
• B.E. Mechanical/ Industrial engineering/ Automobile with 8-10 years of relevant experience
• Experience working in Manufacturing plant & Shop support activities
• Experience in Manufacturing processes (Fabrication, Machining, Assembly process & Special processes)
• Proficiency in Creating Technical work instructions, SOP, and Best practices
• Experience in Tool design & development, Fixture engineering
• Experience in PPAP management
• Experience in Project management and Team handling
• Should have working experience in Quality Assurance and Quality control.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Excellent drawing interpretation skills and good knowledge of the use of weld symbols
• Good knowledge on Material selection, Heat treatment & surface treatment requirements
• Conceptualize, design and develop process/products.
• Basic knowledge of PLM Teamcenter, NX, FEA
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders, accountability and schedule-oriented
• Flexible to work in the US time zone for effective team engagement (as needed)
• Strong team building, decision-making, and people management skills
