The total base salary for this position is $23.00 to $24.84 an hour
All 2nd shift employees are entitled to a 10% shift differential
Responsibilities
As a Manufacturing Generalist, you'll be part of a team that takes pride in assembling and disassembling compressors
You'll play a crucial role in our Maintenance, Logistics, Package, and Core departments, ensuring that our operations run smoothly
Your knowledge with hand tools, pneumatic tools, electric hand tools, cranes, and fork trucks will be invaluable in prepping parts for the painting process and supporting various manufacturing activities
As a Manufacturing Generalist you will repot to the Core Manufacturing Supervisor and work closely with production, warehouse, and maintenance teams
You will assemble and disassemble compressors
You will perform mechanical assembly and test setups
You will carry out maintenance activities
You will handle materials throughout manufacturing
You will clean and deburr compressor parts
You will prepare parts for painting, including media blasting
You will conduct hydrostatic testing of piping and castings
You will fit oil and water piping
You will work with manufacturing/logistics operations in SAP

Your Role
As a Manufacturing Generalist, you'll be part of a team that takes pride in assembling and disassembling compressors. You'll play a crucial role in our Maintenance, Logistics, Package, and Core departments, ensuring that our operations run smoothly. Your knowledge with hand tools, pneumatic tools, electric hand tools, cranes, and fork trucks will be invaluable in prepping parts for the painting process and supporting various manufacturing activities.
As a Manufacturing Generalist you will repot to the Core Manufacturing Supervisor and work closely with production, warehouse, and maintenance teams. The hours for this position are Monday through Thursday 3:00 pm to 1:30 am. This is an onsite position located in Voorheesville, NY.
