About the Role
We are seeking a confident and experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead production operations at our Highbrook site. Sitting within our senior management group, this role plays a central part in shaping plant performance, driving safety and quality standards, and ensuring our teams deliver reliably and consistently.
You’ll be responsible for optimising production performance in our Highbrook plant, ensuring the output meets customer expectations while maintaining strong safety and quality standards. Your leadership is steady, structured and focused on enabling reliable, repeatable performance.
Key areas of focus include:
Delivery of the production plan— safely. On time, in full, every day
Plan resources effectively using capacity data, production needs and forecasts.
Use data and analysis to make informed decisions and drive improvement.
Partner with Engineering and Logistics to minimise downtime and ensure smooth flow.
Lead clear, collaborative problem‑solving to quickly remove barriers to performance.
Role‑model safety excellence - lead with care, ensuring safety standards are implemented, lived and continuously improved.
Ensure all team members understand risks, controls and their responsibilities through consistent communication and coaching.
Champion a proactive safety culture by addressing unsafe behaviours immediately and reinforcing safe practices.
Lead, motivate and inspire a high‑performance production team with clarity and purpose.
Delegate effectively, grow capability and develop strong talent pipelines.
What You Bring
Proven experience leading teams in a manufacturing or production environment.
A strong commitment to safety and quality, demonstrated through your behaviours and expectations.
Strong planning, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills with a data‑driven mindset.
A clear, consistent leadership approach that builds confidence and accountability.
Commercial acumen and understanding of cost drivers, P&L and operational budgets.
