Responsibilities
As a key leader within the program, you will work closely with the Hardware Program Manager to oversee all aspects of the manufacturing process for critical mission systems
You will be responsible for driving the production of high-quality hardware systems, ensuring that manufacturing operations meet stringent performance, cost, and schedule requirements
Lead the manufacturing team to deliver high-quality products that meet customer requirements and specifications, while ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets
Establish and oversee a new production facility, including layout design, equipment procurement, installation, and operational start-up to ensure the facility meets program objectives and production goals
Develop and implement manufacturing plans and strategies that align with program objectives and support the overall lifecycle of Navy SIGINT, EMW, and IO systems
Oversee the full manufacturing lifecycle for new and existing mission systems, including procurement, production, testing, and delivery of hardware configuration items
Ensure compliance with applicable Quality Assurance processes (AS9100) including Configuration Management, Default Reporting and Correction, ESD processes, etc
Ensure compliance with all industry and company standards and procedures, including safety, quality, and security, while maintaining a culture of continuous improvement
Coordinate closely with the Hardware Program Manager and other IPT leads to ensure manufacturing activities align with program milestones and customer expectations
Manage and allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize production efficiency and maintain high-quality standards
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to manufacturing processes, making adjustments to strategies as needed to ensure project success
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and components
Communicate manufacturing status and performance metrics to stakeholders, including program managers and executive leadership
Mentor and develop manufacturing team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence
Identify and implement best practices and tools to improve team efficiency and product quality

The Opportunity

CACI is seeking a talented Manufacturing Manager to join our dynamic team in support of the Navy’s next-generation SIGINT, EMW, and IO systems. As a key leader within the program, you will work closely with the Hardware Program Manager to oversee all aspects of the manufacturing process for critical mission systems. You will be responsible for driving the production of high-quality hardware systems, ensuring that manufacturing operations meet stringent performance, cost, and schedule requirements.
