The manufacturing Manager role offers the chance to lead the entire production function at our manufacturing facility and play a key part on the senior site leadership team.
You'll drive the site's improvement agenda, build capability across your team, and shape a high performing culture.
With full ownership of manufacturing performance, you'll lead change, optimise resources, and lift the site toward World Class standards. It's an opportunity to make a meaningful impact, develop strong leaders, and influence major operational decisions across the business.
Specifically you will
Drive operational performance by leading site structure, OPx delivery, culture, continuous improvement initiatives, and cross-functional projects.
Ensure compliance and certification readiness across OH&S, environmental standards, GMP, BRC audit requirements, and broader quality systems.
Lead and develop manufacturing teams, fostering a high-performance culture focused on safety, quality, productivity, and accountability.
Optimise resources and processes through labour cost control, inventory and procurement management, production planning, waste minimisation, and SAP workflow accuracy.
Maintain operational reliability via preventive maintenance, rapid breakdown response, SCADA monitoring, and coordination of logistics and supply chain activities.
About You
For this role to be a success you will be an engaging people leader with a background in the food manufacturing industry; an understanding of Plant Baking would be advantageous but more so the ability to lead from the front is essential.
Skillsets, qualifications and experience we are looking for include:
Manufacturing leadership experience with demonstrated experience in driving results (versus production targets, waste reduction, cost reduction, DIFOT)
An understanding of end-to-end value chain and the ability to identify and leverage opportunities to transform and improve
Experience in leading through others to uplift capability across the site
Prior experience in Industrial / Plant baking would be advantageous but in the absence of a willingness to learn is essential
