Manufacturing Filling Operative
As a Manufacturing Operative, you will supply accurately manufactured products in accordance with production schedules, whilst providing a high level of service to internal departments to meet our customers’ demands.
Shifts 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm
Key Responsibilities
• Provide specified products in line with procedures to meet company quality standards.
• Adhere to production planning schedules.
• Ensure duties are carried out efficiently to minimise costs and waste.
• Follow health and safety regulations, always maintain safe-working practices and undertake any required training to ensure the company aligns with legislation.
• Coordinate your workplace and maintain a high standard of housekeeping, to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
• Provide a high level of service to internal customers.
• Achieve production targets to contribute to department objectives.
• Ensure that products are manufactured to the correct quality following a recipe.
• Ensure that products are manufactured safely in a chemical environment.
Qualifications
• Numerate and literate
• Ability to manually handle large amounts of paint in cans up to 18kg
• Ability to use Manual Handling Equipment (MHE) to move pallets of paint
• PC literate, ability to use MS Office products and machine operating screens.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not essential
• Be able to operate lifting equipment.
