Immediate employment opportunities are available for Manufacturing QC Specialist with Aerospace industry experience at our Aerospace Manufacturing Facility.
Pay Rate: $20-$26/hour
From Monday to Friday, the employee is required to work for a total of 8 hours, beginning at 6:00 in the morning and ending at 2:30 in the afternoon
Job Overview:
To ensure adherence to quality standards, the Quality Inspector performs a variety of inspections, such as receiving inspections and final product inspections. The inspector also verifies completed paperwork, identifies any non-conformance issues, and uses hand tools such as micrometers, scales, height gauges, and calipers to determine the dimensions of production parts and assemblies.
Responsibilities:
• Complete all tasks in strict accordance with the quality management system procedures and instructions.
• Ensure that prescribed procedures and guidelines are being followed, while swiftly addressing any quality-related matters that involve either internal or external customers.
• Perform receiving, first piece, in-process, and final inspections in adherence to the required guidelines.
• Execute report generation tasks as required, ensure authenticity of the information, track performance measures, and suggest modifications to the procedures to maximize productivity.
• Confirm that the delivered products meet the purchase orders and fulfill the customer's desires by conducting a complete verification.
• Assure that the assemblies meet the customer's specifications entirely.
• The initial measure for using instruments in product acceptance is to guarantee their calibration.
• Document any deviations from specifications and tolerances with precision, following established procedures.
• Keep track of inspection information and finish inspection reports.
• Produce accurate manufacturing and distribution PPAP documentation according to customer specifications.
• Adhere to AS9102 protocols to generate certification packages for requested First Article Inspection Reports.
• Reviewing Inspection Results: After all inspections are completed, the inspection results need to be reviewed by project managers and stakeholders. This can be done using the designated software, which makes it easy to review and analyze data.
Qualifications:
• The competence to understand and meet customer needs is a critical skill for any customer service representative.
• A solid understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerances (GD&T) and the ability to read blueprints with a high degree of accuracy are fundamental requirements for this role
• Adroit in using different types of measurement devices, including weighing scales, calipers, micrometers, handheld implements, rulers, pin gauges, radius gauges, and comparators.
• Strong observance of details, exceptional organizational proficiency, efficient time management skills, and productive follow-up capabilities.
• Experience with AS9102 is often a prerequisite for pursuing a career in aviation quality management.
• Explaining the Concept of FAI's, DIP's, and Net Inspect in Quality Control.
• This position requires a candidate to possess excellent computer skills, including expertise in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Advanced PDF software.
• Proficient in expressing oneself with clarity and professionalism through phone conversations, electronic mails, or personal interactions.
• Obtaining a High School Diploma or GED is an essential requirement for applicants.
