Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Manufacturing Specialist – Cell Therapy to support GMP manufacturing operations for cell therapy products. The ideal candidate will have at least 1+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or cell therapy manufacturing and hands-on experience with cell counting techniques, preferably using the NC-200 NucleoCounter or other automated cell counting systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform cell therapy manufacturing activities in accordance with GMP regulations and SOPs
• Execute aseptic processing in cleanroom environments (ISO 5–8)
• Conduct cell culture, expansion, harvesting, washing, and cryopreservation processes
• Perform cell counts and viability assessments using NC-200 NucleoCounter or other automated cell counters
• Prepare, operate, and maintain manufacturing equipment
• Complete batch records and manufacturing documentation accurately and in a timely manner
• Support deviation investigations, CAPAs, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain cleanroom standards
• Participate in equipment cleaning, sterilization, and environmental monitoring activities
Required Qualifications
• 1+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or cell therapy manufacturing
• Experience working in GMP-regulated environments
• Hands-on experience with aseptic techniques and cell culture processes
• Experience with cell counting methods
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with NC-200 NucleoCounter
• Experience with automated cell counting systems
• Experience with cryopreservation and thawing processes
• Familiarity with batch record review and GMP documentation practices
