Location: Deland, FL (Onsite)
Job Description:
The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations and ensuring that safety, quality, delivery and cost activities are achieved in the Rework and Soldering production cells. The Manufacturing Supervisor provides direction to their production team concerning assignments, quality concerns, site priorities and overtime requirements.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Act as subject matter expert and partner with Technical Advisors
• This is a working supervisory position. Manufacturing Supervisor will perform rework on components along with team members
• Soldering and desoldering of surface mounted and plated through-hole electrical components, hand soldering of through-hole, SMT, wires and terminals using both lead & lead free alloys
• Ability to use illuminated bench magnifiers and low-to-high power microscopes to work with very small components
• Must be able to read and interpret bill-of-materials (BOM) and assembly drawings, including notes, and interpret and validate soldering specifications/requirements
• Coordinate with technicians and operators to setup, operate, and monitor equipment for various product applications
• Plan, coordinate and allocate work assignments to meet production deadlines
• Analyze the work already present and prioritize work according to customer demands and other deadlines
• Be prepared in daily production meeting knowing specifically (parts, customers, etc.) what is in your area and when it will be released for next operation
• Constant communication with other Manufacturing Supervisors to be aware of incoming products and ensure they are prepared when product leaves your assigned area(s)
• Address production issues such as scheduling, quality, run time, and changeovers
Supervisor Responsibilities:
• Must be able to pass IPC-610, J-STD-001 and IPC 7711/7721 Rework & Repair Certification
• Ability to perform any/all functions in the assigned areas
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained
• Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of workers
• Train workers in all rework & soldering job duties
• Optimize production efficiency, safety, quality, costs, and remove waste throughout all processes
• Establish effective and efficient manufacturing processes and work instructions
• Identify and drive best practices in functional areas
• Assess and evaluate and effectively review issues, evaluate data, and determine key drivers, causes and issues, and to identify problems and opportunities
• Strong orientation for follow-through. Will not leave until job is done.
• Leads and initiates change effectively and is flexible and collaborative in all cross-functional responsibilities
