Job Description: Maria DB Administrator
• Degree BE/B.Tech/MCA in IT/Computer Science/ Electronics & Communication/Electronics or higher/Diploma in Computer Science
• Good understanding of the Maria DB, related utilities and tools
• Good understanding of the underlying operating system: Linux and Windows
• Good knowledge of the physical database design
• Ability to perform both Maria DB and operating system performance tuning and monitoring.
• Knowledge of Maria DB backup and recovery scenarios
• Good knowledge of Maria DB security management
• Good knowledge of how Maria DB acquires and manages resources
• Good knowledge Maria DB data integrity
• Sound knowledge of the implemented application systems using Maria DB and Oracle DB.
• Experience in code migration, database change management and data

management through the various stages of the development life cycle
• Sound knowledge of both database and system performance tuning
• DBA should have sound communication skills with management, development teams, vendors and systems administrators
• Provide a strategic database direction for the organization
• High understanding of the Maria DB database, Related utilities and tools
• Good understanding of the underlying operating system
• High knowledge of the physical database design
• Maria DB certified professional
• Ability to perform both Maria DB and operating system performance tuning and monitoring
• Data migration from one platform to another
• Knowledge of Data transformation from Maria DB to Oracle DB or MySQL to Oracle DB
• Have worked on Oracle Data pump / SQL developer
• Sound knowledge of the implemented application systems
• Experience in code migration, database change management and data management through the various stages of the development life cycle
• Sound knowledge of both database and system performance tuning
• DBA should have sound communication skills with management, development teams, vendors and systems administrators
• Provide a strategic database direction for the organization
• DBA should have the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
• DBA should possess a sound understanding of the business
• High level knowledge of ServiceNow application
• Preferred certification: Maria DB certified professional
• Good to have: Oracle DB certification

· Total experience: 8 years

· Relevant experience of Database Administration (any field): 5 years
