Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mariner, based in Navi Mumbai. The Mariner will be responsible for operating and maintaining vessels, ensuring safety protocols and regulations are followed, and assisting in the navigation, docking, and undocking of ships. Additional duties may include maintaining the ship’s cleanliness, performing routine maintenance tasks, and coordinating with crew members to ensure smooth ship operations. The role requires physical fitness and a commitment to working in a dynamic and challenging maritime environment.
Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of Navigation, Seamanship, and Ship Operations
• Understanding of Safety Protocols, Maritime Regulations, and Emergency Procedures
• Experience with Maintenance and Repair of shipboard equipment
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
• Physical fitness and stamina to perform demanding tasks
• Relevant certifications and licenses for maritime activities
• Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to life at sea
• Previous experience in a similar or related maritime role is a plus
• Training from a recognized Maritime Academy is beneficial
