Job Description
Join us as a Market Data Operations Analyst, where you will help shape the future of Banking at Barclays. In this role you will be responsible for all Sourcing and Supplier Management activity for vendors in the Market data space. This includes engaging with Business stakeholders on requirements, negotiating new contracts and commercials, renewals, queries, projects and any other activity related to Market Data contracts, vendors and their associated service and risk.
To be successful as a Market Data Operations Analyst, you should have:
Investment Banking or Financial services industry experience, within a Market Data role.
Deep knowledge of Market Data Services (specifically indices) and use within financial services. Experience in commercial and contractual negotiations.
Senior stakeholder engagement.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Strong MS Office skills.
Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
