About the role
Mitre 10 is currently seeking a passionate and proactive individual to join the team as a Marketing Activation Co-ordinator on a 6-month casual arrangement.
Based out of our Mitre 10 Trade/Retail centre in Tooronga, this is a standalone role supporting the development and implementation of group and store based local area marketing initiatives and store launch programs.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to optimise marketing and promotion opportunities to generate additional traffic to store.
What you will be doing;
Manage store marketing calendar including the development of a 12-month supplier funded strategy
Responsible for new product launches and in-store communications and initiatives
Develop marketing campaign to increase local community engagement
Coordinate engagement events such as BBQs, golf days and trade expos
Manage and order promotional material for stores
Ensure websites and google pages are accurate and kept up to date
What you will bring;
Experience in retail marketing activation
A marketing degree or equivalent experience in marketing (desirable)
Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Proactive nature to come up with ideas and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage competing deadlines and multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
