Americas is looking for a friendly, dynamic Marketing & Administration Executive to support the Managing Director based in Bristol. We are keen to meet with candidates with experience working in the travel industry or those who can show a passion for travel and are willing to learn.

Americas has been successfully representing reputable Latin American DMCs to the UK market for over 33 years. We provide bespoke services to our eleven hand-picked specialists from across the region including tour operator introductions, new business development, marketing, client relationship management, and the organisation of sales calls, events and FAM trips.

Marketing & Administration Executive Role:

To work alongside the Managing Director to promote Americas partners. To take responsibility for the business administration and assist with marketing and events.

Reporting to:

Managing Director

Key Responsibilities:

· Assisting with digital communications – Newsletters, E-shots, LinkedIn, Instagram & Facebook

· Assisting with maximising the use of our Salesforce CRM

· Assisting MD with sales call plans, and establishing and maintaining business relationships

· Planning and administration for key annual events

· Assist with website content creation and web updates using WordPress

· Update & create branded assets when required using Canva

· Assist in tour operator market research

Key skills /Knowledge:

· Experience working in an administrative position preferably in the travel industry

· CRM experience

· Ability to schedule social media posts

· Email marketing experience working with MailChimp or something similar

· Effective communication skills: verbal, visual and written

· Proactive and self-motivated team player with good attention to detail

Ideal skills /Attributes:

· Ability to use your initiative and plan ahead

· Highly organised and a team player

· Experience working for a small company

· Excellent communication skills

· Experience working with Microsoft Office, Mail Chimp, Salesforce, and Canva experience is a bonus but not essential

· Experience working with Latin American travel is a plus

Hours: Monday- Friday- +:30-17:30 – Flexible hours around occasional events

Salary: £28-£30K depending on experience.

Holiday: 22 days + Bank Holidays

Travel: Some travel will be necessary mainly to London. MD is based in Bristol and would like to work with the successful candidate a few days a week from a co-working space in Bristol.
