Responsibilities
Marketing & Events Coordinator
Director of Development and Communications
Supports the Department Director in creating HDF’s yearly Annual Report
Responsible for creating digital and print marketing materials including flyers, ads, brochures, articles, and newsletters
Works with consultants to execute HDF’s FY25-FY27 marketing plan in coordination with management
This position supports HDF’s Counseling, Residential Lending and Commercial Lending Departments in their outreach efforts including phone, email, and in-person outreach
This position works with other department staff to coordinate, schedule, and execute print and provides support for digital marketing campaigns
Event Planning & Management:
This position is responsible for the logistical planning of HDF’s yearly Benefit Breakfast fundraiser with manager oversight and approval
This position is partly responsible for managing the Development Committee including scheduling meetings, materials, etc
Responsible for managing event staffing – managing HDF staff volunteers, vendors, etc
Responsible for event communications including drafting invitations, attendee follow-up, collecting RSVPs, etc

Organization Background:
Founded in 1+8+ as a 501(c)(3), Housing Development Fund is a community development financial institution. The Housing Development Fund’s (HDF) mission is to facilitate the development of affordable rental and homeownership opportunities. We accomplish this by helping households become and remain owners of affordable homes, as well as financing affordable rental opportunities for low- and moderate-income households. By providing free counseling and unique lending products to first-time homebuyers, HDF helps community members become homeowners. We also offer competitive financing options to developers who build affordable housing units.
Salary Range and Terms:
($25-32/hour) This is a permanent position at HDF.
Essential Job Functions:

Qualifications:

· Associate degree required, Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
· Experience with Salesforce technology a plus.
· Some knowledge of conversational Spanish is a plus.
· Must be comfortable learning new software.
· 1+ years of Marketing experience a requirement.
· 1+ years of event planning experience is a requirement.
· Ability to multi-task.
