Location: Markham, Ontario (On-site Work Required)

Company Overview:

We are a company specializing in window coverings and smart home products, serving clients across North America and China. We are currently seeking a versatile and proactive Marketing Assistant to join our team to support business development and brand promotion efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct market research to identify business opportunities, including online searches, industry data analysis, and trade show resource selection and participation;

Assist in the execution of marketing activities, including preparation of promotional materials, design collaboration, and content creation;

Communicate and maintain relationships with clients or partners via phone, WeChat, WhatsApp, etc.;

Provide general administrative support and assist with other tasks assigned by the team;

Be available for occasional overtime to coordinate with the China-based team due to time differences.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or above (from accredited universities in Canada or Mainland China);

Fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills in English;

Proficient in office software (Excel / Google Sheets / Word / PPT);

Proactive, responsible, and adaptable to a fast-paced work environment with occasional overtime;

Stable personality, strong execution skills, fast learner, and a good team player.

We especially welcome candidates with one of the following strengths:

Creative Profile:

Skilled in graphic design and familiar with tools such as Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator;

Capable of quickly producing marketing visuals such as banners, posters, and social media content;

A strong eye for design, layout, and content presentation.

Outgoing Profile:

Enjoys engaging with people, with strong communication and interpersonal skills;

Able to establish contact with customers via phone or messaging platforms and collect initial information;

Experience in sales, customer service, or channel management is a plus.
