Full job description

Piccolini play cafe and The Rise Pizzeria Cafe are looking for a Marketing and Events Coordinator! We are looking for a fun, motivated individual who is driven for the hospitality industry.

Piccolini is a new play cafe coming to the suburbs of Berwick, and The Rise Pizzeria Cafe is a successful family run cafe in the heart of Narre Warren north and we are looking for you!

This role has flexible hours and locations, work from home, work from either of our locations.

Your role will consist of the following -

Marketing & Content Creation

Manage websites, emails, blogs, and social platforms

Create and publish standout content (written, photo, video)

Shoot and edit short-form video content for Reels, TikTok, etc.

Maintain a multi-brand content calendar

Schedule posts, respond to DMs and tagged content

Attend events to capture content on the ground

Report on engagement, growth, and campaign success

Organise Launch of Piccolini brand and socials

Organise PR of Piccolini launch party and event

Event Coordination & Client Management

Respond to inbound enquiries and warm leads

Draft proposals and event quotes

Liaise with venues, suppliers, and internal teams

Ensure events are delivered smoothly and clients are supported

Follow up post-event to gather feedback and maintain relationships

occasional attendance of events on weekends to capture photos for socials

We are looking for someone who can work autonomously and manage their workload and customer enquiries responsibly and in a timely fashion.

Who We’re Looking For

Background in events, marketing, content creation, or customer service

Someone who can work autonomously and manage their workload and customer enquiries responsibly and in a timely fashion

Strong writing skills and a solid grasp of social media best practices

Confident using and creating content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook

Experience in setting up and optimising Google and Facebook Ads

Experience developing and implementing SEO strategies (on-page and off-page)

Comfortable capturing great real-time content at events (photo, video, Reels, BTS moments)

Skilled in shooting/editing short-form video and creating on-brand graphics (Canva etc.)

Experience with Meta Business Suite and scheduling tools

A great phone manner and strong attention to detail

A proactive, energetic attitude — you’re not afraid to jump in, pitch creative ideas, and take initiative

Creative with Social media platform but who can work to guidelines of existing aesthetic.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
