Alexa Gelles Counselling is a private practice based in Vancouver, BC, that provides counselling for individuals and couples, and recently expanded to offer coaching and online education for couples. Our mission is to help people build secure, connected relationships through counselling, coaching, and practical tools.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We’re hiring a part-time Marketing Assistant (contractor) to support course delivery, funnel setup, and podcast editing. This is a remote, flexible role for approximately 2–3 hours/week (10 hours/month to start), with potential to grow over the next 3 months.

You’ll be working directly with the business owner to support marketing tasks and backend setup related to online programs, email funnels, podcast content, and social media. The role is ideal for someone who is tech-savvy, creative, and highly organized.

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

Top Priorities:

Light video editing for course lessons and Facebook ads

Formatting/designing course materials (in Canva)

Connecting landing pages to email sequences (in Kit or similar tool)

Setting up thank-you pages, automations, and tags

Helping build or update landing, thank you and sales pages (in Showit)

Editing and uploading podcast episodes (Spotify for Creators)

Repurposing podcast content into weekly emails and social posts

Other Responsibilities May Include:

Creating simple, clean graphics for opt-ins, posts, and course materials

Scheduling weekly marketing emails

Scheduling content on Instagram

Writing episode notes or blog posts from repurposed material

Offering insights based on social/email performance

JOB TYPE:

Part-Time (2–3 hours/week), Contract

PAY:

$20/hour to start, with opportunity to grow as the business expands
