NMG, based in Newmarket, ON, manages strategic marketing groups for wholesale distributors and retailers (www.newmarketgroup.com). Since 1+78, NMG has provided industry leadership to focus the sales & marketing activities of our members on manufacturers and suppliers who offer programs to our groups. These programs deliver significant revenue and profitability to our members as they build the sales & market share of our manufacturer and supplier partners.

NMG currently manages groups in four industries: restaurant equipment & supplies, industrial tools & safety supplies, lighting & electrical products, and construction equipment.

NMG is seeking a talented and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Marketing Assistant. Reporting to the Vice President, you will be responsible for:

Responsibilities:

Providing administrative assistance to Marketing Team in the development and execution of various marketing programs, promotions and events
Assist with design and preparation of correspondence, reports, promotional materials and presentations
Work closely with Marketing Team to develop promotional data and conference/show material, including content for Social Media and other Digital Marketing initiatives that take place throughout the year
Travel to U.S. to attend & support Annual Trade Show (appx. 1 week of travel annually)
General administrative duties as required
