THE ROLE
Join our early-stage startup, as our Marketing Campaign Intern to learn and gain hands-on experience in email marketing for a ground-breaking product in the Data Analytics space.
You will be pivotal in planning, creating, and executing email marketing campaigns to reach our target audience and achieve our marketing objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and analyze email campaigns that engage customers, drive brand loyalty, and increase revenue.
Since the campaigns are for US companies, you can expect to have a time overlap in PST i.e. you will work between 6 PM-10 PM IST 3 days a week (Tue/Wed/Thu).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Email Campaign Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective email marketing strategies for US e-commerce companies.
• List Segmentation: Segment email lists based on various criteria to ensure targeted and personalized communication.
• Email Campaign Execution: Build and schedule email campaigns using email marketing tools (e.g., MailChimp, HubSpot, Apollo) and monitor their performance.
• A/B Testing: Plan and execute A/B tests on email elements (subject lines, content, CTAs, etc.) to optimize campaign performance.
• Automation: Implement marketing automation workflows to nurture leads and drive customer engagement throughout the customer journey.
• Analytics and Reporting: Monitor key email marketing metrics, analyze campaign results, and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Compliance: Ensure all email campaigns comply with relevant email marketing laws and regulations, including GDPR and CAN-SPAM.
• Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in email marketing.
MUST-HAVE SKILLS:
• Strong Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication skills are essential as you'll be learning to create engaging email content and collaborate with the team.
• Passion for Marketing: A genuine interest in marketing, especially performance marketing and email campaigns, and a strong desire to explore and grow within this field.
• Analytical Curiosity: A willingness to develop basic data analysis skills, as you'll learn to monitor email campaign metrics and use data for campaign improvement.
• Eagerness to Learn: A proactive and enthusiastic attitude toward learning new marketing technologies, strategies, and best practices.
• Interest in Product Marketing: A curiosity about how email campaigns tie into product marketing efforts and customer engagement. You are passionate about working with Founders, and CEOs and are interested in entrepreneurship, SaaS products, and data analytics in general.
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:
• Basic Knowledge of Email Marketing: Knowledge of marketing automation and CRM systems and familiarity with lead nurturing strategies and email marketing to execute lead generation campaigns on platforms like Apollo and HubSpot
• Content Creation Skills: Utilize tools like Canva, Photoshop, and Figma to create visually appealing graphics for marketing collateral.
• Project Management: Basic project management skills to coordinate and manage email marketing campaigns effectively.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in email marketing, digital marketing, or related areas can demonstrate a commitment to professional development
