Fulltime – 37.5 hours per week
5 weeks annual leave +5 days university holidays
Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
As the Marketing, Communications and Events Assistant you will provide high-quality coordination, administrative and communications support across marketing campaigns, events, and team projects. You’ll work closely with marketing and communications specialists, event coordinators, and senior leaders — including providing trusted support to the Director of Marketing, Communications and Events.

No two days are the same. Some of the tasks you will be responsible for include:

Providing administrative, organisational and project coordination support across the Marketing, Communications and Events team
Supporting the Director with planning, reporting, meetings and follow-up of key actions
Assisting with marketing campaigns, publications, newsletters, EDMs, websites and basic content editing
Supporting the planning and delivery of University events and conferences, including logistics and on-the-day coordination
Managing team systems, databases, distribution lists and shared tools
Supporting financial processes such as purchase orders, invoicing and budget tracking.

Mōu | Who You Are
You will have at least three years’ experience in a high-level administrative, coordination or organisational role and have demonstrable experience supporting marketing, communications, publications or events.

You will also have:

Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence editing and reviewing content
A proactive, collaborative approach and strong customer service ethic
Confidence using Microsoft Office and digital tools (project management software an advantage)
