We are seeking a creative and motivated Marketing and Communications Coordinator to support both HCOS and StudyForge! This is a full-time, remote position, working 40 hours/week. The primary purpose of this position is to support the development and execution of marketing and communication initiatives at HCOS and StudyForge that enhance brand visibility, engage target audiences, and promote organizational programs and services. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, content creation, and communications strategy.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and execute social media campaigns across platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) to increase engagement and reach
Update and maintain the organization’s websites and blogs with fresh, engaging content
Monitor and report on the performance of marketing initiatives using tools like Google Analytics or social media insights.
Draft email campaigns
Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent messaging and branding
Assist with other communications and marketing-related tasks as needed
Qualifications
Demonstrates a commitment to, and a lifestyle reflective of, the KCCS Foundational Beliefs
Post-secondary education (university, college or relevant certification) in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to create clear, engaging, and brand-consistent content.
Ability to interpret marketing metrics and generate performance reports.
Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work both independently and as part of a team.
A creative mindset and attention to detail.
Experience with social media platforms preferred.
Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) are an asset.
1-3 years experience: Please note: Experience in a similar role is considered an asset; however, we welcome candidates with transferable skills and a willingness to learn.
Live in Western Canada, preference will be given to applicants living in the Okanagan or Lower Mainland
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $65,187.00-$68,556.00 per year
