About Us Step2Words is a non-profit organization that works with middle school children from marginalized communities in Pune. We focus on children who are behind by 3-4 years in learning levels when compared to their peers. These children are at high risk of dropping out of school which impacts their access to better jobs. This significantly reduces their chances of escaping the poverty trap and accessing better standards of living. We believe that every child is creatively inclined and enjoys learning when the learning journey is inclusive, practical, and owned. By integrating performing arts and contemporary arts with English skills, we not only make learning English engaging but also inculcate 21st-century skills in children. Step2Words has two approaches. First, we partner with low-income schools to place Fellows to engage students with English through an arts-based approach. Second, we train educators to adopt an arts-based approach to learning English through workshops. Why work with us? Step2Words is a young organization. Location: Pune Stipend: ₹5,000/month Duration: + months Roles & Responsibilities: • Actively participate in on-ground activities to record and collect anecdotes that resonate with our brand values. • Foster collaboration with internal teams to gather insights and stay updated on brand developments. • Craft engaging short-form content for Instagram, including posts, videos, and reels, to amplify our brand presence and connect with our audience. • Maintain an active and professional presence on LinkedIn, representing the brand positively and engaging with relevant industry professionals. • Ensure that all created content aligns seamlessly with the overarching brand identity and messaging. Qualifications & Skills: • Proficient in creating visually appealing graphics and designs using tools like Canva and Photoshop, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics. • Proficiency in English communication, clear and effective written and verbal communication skills. • Possessing photography skills is considered an added advantage, enabling the capture of high-quality images for use in graphic design projects or content creation.
