About the role

The Marketing Communications Specialist for Aliaxis NZ is at the forefront of content creation, social media strategy, and communication plans, acting as the brand guardian for our business and brand identities.

The role involves managing our social presence, supporting product launches, and driving industry, staff and community engagement. They plan and execute internal and external communications plans, manage digital assets and utilise technology to maximise customer engagement.

The role is pivotal in aligning our marketing efforts with business objectives, fostering strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

What will you do?

Develop and manage content, in collaboration with a creative agency, to enhance brand leadership, engage audiences, and grow commercial and product brands

Lead social media strategy, content creation, and engagement across platforms, ensuring professional and timely responses aligned with the company’s values

Support communication plans for product launches, campaigns, and key segments with the Marketing Services team

Create and execute messaging strategies to promote sustainability initiatives and achievements

Foster community and industry engagement by promoting sponsorships and initiatives

Drive internal communications through town halls, digital updates, and supporting HR initiatives

Manage multimedia content, including photography and videography for products and case studies

Plan and execute marketing email campaigns, automation journeys, and performance analysis using CRM tools

Oversee Digital Asset Management (DAM) projects, ensuring data integrity and system effectiveness

Develop and oversee communications budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality

About you

A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications with 3 - 8 years of experience

Strong writing, editing, communication, and attention to detail

Skilled in tailoring content for diverse audiences and mediums

Proficient in digital communications, including social media, websites, and digital advertising

Effective at managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and solving problems creatively

Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work independently and collaboratively

Experienced in stakeholder management

Proficient in Microsoft Office tools; experience with Adobe Creative Suite, CRM, marketing automation, photography, and videography is a plus
