About the Role
Talkie Communications is growing fast, and we’re looking for a creative, hands-on Marketing & Content Creator who can help tell our story the right way — the real way.
You’ll work closely with our teams, spend time with field techs, visit installs, join events, and highlight the people who make Talkie what it is. This role is perfect for someone who loves capturing authentic moments and turning them into engaging videos, photos, and social posts for Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.

What You’ll DoContent Creation
Record, photograph, and edit real people, real installs, and real customer stories
Create short-form and long-form videos for Facebook, YouTube, Shorts, Reels, TikTok
Take high-quality product photos & staff photos for marketing
Produce behind-the-scenes content of our field techs, office teams, and store
Marketing & Social Media
Run Talkie’s Facebook event posts, announcements, specials, and giveaways
Brainstorm new ideas and campaigns weekly
Write captions, create graphics, and schedule posts across platforms
Capture the culture — workplace happiness, customer success stories, community involvement
Brand & Community
Attend local events, community days, grand openings, and sponsorships
Help plan onsite and offsite events
Represent Talkie’s mission: local service, real customer care, and positive community impact
What You Need
Local to the Eastern Shore (Kent Island area preferred)
Able to come into the office for collaboration — we want you immersed in the culture
Must have your own camera, phone, or recording equipment to start (we will help upgrade later)
Experience with video editing (Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci, etc.)
Strong communication and storytelling skills
A collaborative mindset — this role works with every team at Talkie
Bonus Points
Experience with YouTube growth
Comfortable interviewing staff/customers
Knowledge of basic tech/Internet concepts (you’ll be around techs often)
Graphic design or Canva skills
Idea-driven — we want someone who brings new concepts weekly
