Job Description
The Marketing and Business Development (MBD) function in QuoDeck works towards developing and executing marketing and business development campaigns to promote and sell QuoDeck as a product across the globe.
Marketing works closely with other employees in areas such as digital marketing, online user acquisition, trial conversion, market development, copy & collateral, showcases, pre-sales and distribution.
Inside Sales works closely with other parts of MBD to ensure free to paid conversion, product sales campaigns, user onboarding and experience.
Key Accounts works on enterprise sales and key account management for QuoDeck, focused on revenues and building deep relationships with large enterprises.
Part of the responsibilities of MBD also encompass engaging with our partner sales representatives in other geographies and developing strategies and supporting them in succeeding in their markets.
MBD is also custodian of the QuoDeck Brand and therefore, works on all aspects of brand promotion such as content marketing, network expansion, customer engagement and customer experience management.
Position: Content Marketing Manager
Brief
We are looking for an innovative marketing manager to join our Marketing team. This position is responsible for doing daily marketing activities, undertake content marketing activities, collaborate with design team to create high quality content, deliver on a content marketing calendar, edit, proofread and improve content, and optimize content for SEO and Google Analytics. The Content Marketing Manager will be responsible for running content campaigns targeted towards traffic acquisition, and will work closely with other functions such as product management and product sales to do so.
To be successful as a Content Marketing Manager in QuoDeck’s Marketing team, you should be able to understand the strategic objectives for campaigns, devise strategies and channels through which these objectives can be achieved, prepare budgets and get them approved, and launch and drive campaigns to fruition. A Content Marketing Manager in MBD should be hungry, competitive and an innovative thinker.
Responsibilities
o Design content marketing calendars and get them approved
o Undertake content marketing activities to achieve campaign targets
o Deliver engaging content on a regular basis aligned with the brand and campaign objectives
o Optimize content considering SEO and Google Analytics
o Analyze web traffic metrics
o Share content through various channels, ensuring strong web presence
o Receive customer feedback and generate ideas to increase customer engagement
Requirements for the role
o Preferred Master’s Degree/ PG Diploma in Communication/ Marketing/English Literature
o Excellent communication and writing skills in English
o Understanding of web publishing requirements
o Editorial mindset with an ability to predict audience preferences
o Understanding of social media advertising across major platforms (FB, IG, Twitter, LinkedIn)
o Hands on experience with SEO and web traffic metrics
o Goal-oriented individual, self-starter, good problem solver, curious and self-learning
o Hunger, ability and orientation to drive content marketing for the brand
