Marketing Coordinator

Role and Objectives:
The Marketing Coordinator, under the direction of the Director Sales & Marketing, is responsible for the preparation of marketing proposals and support materials based on input from Project Managers. The Marketing Coordinator will provide market research, strategy and creative assistance where applicable. As a Marketing Coordinator, this position will act in a supporting role for the sales department. This role does not hold responsibilities for the creation of proposal leads.
This is an onsite role in our Vancouver office.
Responsibilities:
Support a comprehensive social media and digital marketing campaign to launch our new products and services
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create product sheets
Post weekly on LinkedIn about new product lines, what they can do and why
Collaborate with local media outlets to promote our product offerings
Work with Project Managers to collect and organize photos and projects details for future use
Update projects on company website
Coordinate details around trade shows and maintain log of inventory
Provide PowerPoint, Product Sheets, Brochures, proposals templates and support
Track marketing initiatives with weekly/monthly reports as required
Assist with promotional events and materials
Requirements:
University degree in marketing/visual design education is required
5 years of direct work experience in marketing or consulting capacity
Excellent understanding and working knowledge of brand building and brand management
Knowledge of the lumber and mass timber industries is preferred
Superior graphic design skills and an eye for aesthetics in presentation materials
Highly effective project management, prioritization, multi-tasking, and time management skills to meet deadlines
Proven ability to prepare marketing proposals with a blend of focused research, strategy and creativity.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Energetic, self-motivated, and results-oriented
Proven team player who is both flexible and adaptable
Computer literate, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail and Adobe Products
Superb writing, content development and editing skills
A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills
Working Conditions:
Travel may be required
Ability to attend and conduct presentations
Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
Overtime as required
Lifting or moving up to 10lbs may be required
Compensation Package:
Wage: 57,000.00 – 72,000.00 (Dependent on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday
