David Weekley Homes is always seeking exceptional marketing communicators to join our growing Marketing and Communications team. We offer a challenging environment that fosters learning and passion for your craft.
We’re seeking Copywriters with a passion for creating copy that will capture the David Weekley Homes’ voice while conveying Our Purpose of Building Dreams, Enhancing Lives.
To be successful in this position, you will be a capable of both creative ideation and rapid execution. As a Copywriter, you can expect to deliver content for branded collateral, digital advertising, webpages and occasionally traditional advertising.
The Work:
+ Develop and create effective, engaging content for our field markets while adhering to our established brand voice and guidelines
+ Contribute and participate in planning and brainstorming sessions and meetings
+ Edit, proof, update, and write internal and external communications, advertising, web-based writing assignments and articles across various platforms and media.
+ Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule
+ Manage multiple projects and remain flexible through revisions while maintaining a positive attitude
+ Collaborate effectively with Team Members throughout the company
Qualifications
+ Writers with professional experience in marketing, copywriting, internal communications, media relations, social media and blogging
+ Strong word processing and familiarity with standard style guides
Candidates should also demonstrate the following soft skills:
+ Customer-oriented attitude with strong follow up
+ Demonstrate strong sense of urgency and constant communication with customers
+ A self-starter, conscientious about doing quality work on a timely basis
+ Eager to take on challenges and learn new things to continually develop skills
+ Excel in handling multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently while meeting deadlines with high-quality work
+ Team players who enjoy collaboration, but who are also able to work independently
