Marketing, Design & Photography Associate — Jaxy Eyewear (Part-Time, LA)
Jaxy is a new eyewear brand launching this month. We're small, moving fast, and looking for one creative person to own a huge slice of how the brand looks and sounds.
The role
You'll be the Swiss Army knife behind everything visual and editorial at Jaxy:
• Photography: Product, lifestyle, and studio shoots across our full catalog. You'll art-direct and shoot — must own your camera gear.
• Social media: Own the content calendar, create the content, manage posting and community.
• Email marketing: Design and produce 6 emails per week in Klaviyo. This is high-volume — you should be excited by that, not scared of it.
• Print & packaging design: Support on hangtags, inserts, retail collateral.
You'll love this if you…
• Want to build a brand from day one rather than maintain one that already exists
• Are equally comfortable behind a camera, in Photoshop, and in an ESP
• Have strong taste in eyewear, fashion, or DTC consumer brands
• Like working independently with quick feedback loops
Requirements
• Based in Los Angeles (remote OK, but LA-based for shoots and occasional in-person)
• 3+ years in e-commerce, merchandising, or fashion-adjacent creative work
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Figma, Capture One or Lightroom, and Canva
• Hands-on experience with Klaviyo or a comparable ESP
• Own your camera gear (bodies, lenses, lighting basics)
• Portfolio with both product photography AND digital design work (email or social)
Logistics
• Part-time, 20–30 hours/week
• $30–35/hour DOE
• Start date: immediate
