• Job Summary:
As a Marketing Designer at PyxTech, you will play a crucial role in creating visually engaging marketing materials and supporting customer-facing presentations. You will work closely with the marketing, sales, and customer success teams to develop graphics, layouts, and videos that effectively communicate our brand, Services and Products.
• Key Responsibilities:
Design Creation and Implementation:
- Design and develop marketing materials including brochures, flyers, banners, and digital content using the likes of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Create engaging mockups and wireframes for client demos and presentations using Adobe XD.
- Assist in maintaining and updating the company’s website using WiX, ensuring all graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.
Presentation Development:
- Develop and refine PowerPoint presentations for sales pitches and customer demos, ensuring they are visually appealing and communicate the desired message effectively.
- Collaborate with the sales and customer relations teams to understand the requirements and objectives of each presentation.
Video Production:
- Lead the production of explainer videos and other multimedia content.
Brand Consistency:
- Ensure all designs and materials adhere to the company’s brand guidelines.
- Contribute to the development of brand guidelines as the company evolves.
Collaboration and Feedback:
- Work closely with the marketing team to brainstorm and conceptualize design projects.
- Receive and integrate feedback from team members and clients to refine designs.
Project Management:
- Manage multiple design projects from concept through completion under predefined deadlines.
- Prioritize tasks and projects effectively to meet deliverables.
• Desired Skillset:
- Graphic Design Proficiency: Strong skills in graphic design software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign are essential. Familiarity with web design tools such as Adobe XD.
- Understanding of Branding: Knowledge of how to create and maintain a visual identity that reflects the brand's values and appeals to the target audience.
- Web Design Basics: A good grasp of web design principles and platforms such as WordPress, Wix, or Squarespace helps in designing effective web pages and digital assets.
- Typography and Layout: Ability to effectively use typography, spacing, and layout to improve readability and visual impact of design work.
- Multimedia Production: Skills in video editing and animation are increasingly important, particularly proficiency in tools like Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
