ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a senior leadership position focused on strategy, execution, people, and performance. Working in partnership with the directors and executive leadership team, you will help shape marketing strategy, build capability and create clarity across the marketing function. You will ensure the team performs at its best while supporting the broader commercial objectives of the business.
You will be accountable for marketing leadership, execution of the agreed strategic plan, investment recommendations and performance outcomes, with the opportunity to influence how the function evolves over time as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Director to lead the marketing function and translate business and commercial strategy into clear, effective marketing execution across brand, digital, campaigns and customer engagement. This role is designed to strengthen alignment between marketing activity and commercial outcomes, supporting sustainable growth across the business.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will work closely with senior leaders to contribute to strategic planning, guide the marketing team, and ensure marketing delivers clear, measurable impact.
Strategic leadership
Partner with the executive team and directors to shape and execute marketing strategy aligned to business and growth priorities
Translate commercial objectives into clear marketing plans, priorities and outcomes
Provide strategic insight, recommendations and performance reporting to senior leadership
Brand, positioning and growth
Strengthen brand positioning and customer value propositions in line with business strategy
Ensure consistent brand standards across all channels and touchpoints
Lead campaigns and initiatives that enhance brand awareness, lead generation and revenue growth
Digital, data and performance
Lead digital, ecommerce and marketing technology capability in support of agreed strategy
Build a data driven marketing function focused on insight, effectiveness and ROI
Oversee marketing systems, tools and performance reporting
People leadership and collaboration
Lead, develop and support a high performing marketing team
Build strong partnerships with Sales, Customer Service and Operations
Create clarity, accountability and effective ways of working across the function
Governance and investment
Own the marketing budget and provide informed investment recommendations
Establish strong processes, governance and performance measures
Report on marketing impact and contribution to business outcomes
Requirements
What you’ll bring
Senior marketing leadership experience with demonstrated commercial impact
Strong capability in brand strategy, market positioning and customer engagement
Advanced digital and data led marketing expertise
Proven experience leading and developing teams
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
Sound commercial judgement, including budget and ROI management
Experience that will be highly regarded
Strong background in a B2B industrial environment
Experience lifting marketing maturity, systems and governance
Exposure to CRM, automation and analytics platforms
Experience aligning marketing activity with sales performance and growth
