Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Marketing & Events Coordinator with a strong focus on community networking, event planning, and content management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering community relationships, organizing and executing customer- and prospect-facing in-person and webinar-based events, managing social media and website content, and overseeing lead-gen marketing/advertising efforts. This role also involves gathering testimonials and creating compelling case studies to highlight success stories.
This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The successful candidate will be a proactive and clear communicator, capable of engaging with both internal teams and external partners to achieve our marketing objectives. Preference will be given to candidates familiar with StoryBrand style content development and marketing frameworks.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Plan and execute customer- and prospect-facing events, both in-person and via webinars.
• Establish and maintain professional networking relationships within the community to identify and book speaking engagements for the CEO and other key leaders.
• Manage social media channels, ensuring consistent and engaging content.
• Maintain and update website content regularly.
• Gather new and leverage existing client testimonials to support marketing efforts.
• Write and publish case studies to showcase successful client engagements.
• Develop and implement StoryBrand style content across various marketing channels.
• Oversee and manage lead-gen advertising efforts (e.g. using HubSpot, Google AdWords, LinkedIn).
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and consistency in marketing messages.
Additional Duties & Responsibilities
• Document internal processes and procedures relevant to this role.
• Enter activities, time, and expenses into our Professional Services Automation (ConnectWise PSA) system in real-time.
• Complete training on our systems and demonstrate ongoing understanding of business workflows.
• Exhibit a commitment to cybersecurity best practices for information handling.
Preferred Qualifications Include:
• At least two years of experience in event planning, marketing coordination, or a related field.
• Familiarity with StoryBrand style content development and marketing frameworks.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word & Excel.
• Comfortable with and experienced in leveraging generative AI tools like ChatGPT and/or Microsoft Copilot for content creation and marketing tasks.
• Experience with social media (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook), CRM & Marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot, Canva) a plus.
• Experience managing advertising campaigns on platforms such as HubSpot and Google AdWords.
• Ability to manage complex, multi-phased projects with regular milestones and deliverables.
• Ability to work independently and stay motivated.
• Willingness to adapt to work in a fast-moving environment.
