About The Opportunity
As Marketing Events Coordinator you will be the driving force behind our brand's buzz in the local community! We'll look to you to spread the word about our superior service, our vibrant company culture, and our dedication to the community. We're looking for someone with a lot of positive energy and who is very engaging and friendly to represent our brand.
Identifying, planning and executing local events and programs is a core responsibility of this position, and collaboration with the sales team and outside vendors is key.
We're a startup, so organizational skills are a must! You'll help organize all the sales collateral and promotional items making sure we have what we need when we need it.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Organize and lead sales/awareness events and activities during the week, in the evenings, and on weekends.
• Execute a wide range of marketing tactics and campaigns to build brand awareness and drive sales.
• Identify, plan and implement community engagement opportunities in coordination with the marketing leaders and sales team.
• Provide regular reporting to the leadership team to gauge effectiveness of field marketing efforts.
• Create and follow event budgets and track key performance indicators.
• Provide tracking of daily activities.
• Responsible for post-event follow-up with the sales team to ensure all leads are contacted and tracked in the CRM.
• Take live orders, instructing customers on how to sign-up through the FastBridge Fiber website during events or while doing in-the-field tactics.
• Support the social media strategy by posting and providing content to promote our service and events, grow our social media following, and engage our community.
• Willing and able to travel to other markets, as needed.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
• Excellent communication skills, with high integrity and a strong work ethic.
• Professional demeanor required to represent our company to our customers and the community.
• Must be a super energetic and outgoing people person.
• Ability to approach projects and tasks individually and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Additional creative skills are a plus, especially Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Canva.
• Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a criminal background check.

Education & Experience
• College degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year in marketing or sales, preferably in the telecommunications/cable/fiber industry.
