Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing and Events Coordinator who will report to the Product Marketing Manager and work closely with the wider marketing team. As the Marketing & Events Coordinator, you will hold a broad, diverse and pivotal role in the business that contributes to the overall Kaplan Professional B2B and B2C marketing strategy. You are motivated, enthusiastic and will bring a professional and proactive approach to your work accompanied by polished communication and relationship skills. This role is for you if you command excellent time management skills, remain calm under pressure, and have the desire to work in a dynamic and fast-paced team.
Responsibilities:
Event management, including client events, product launches, student engagement initiatives, and sponsorship of industry conferences
Ensure event timelines and deadlines are adhered to and met
Assisting with and contributing to the design, execution and analysis of marketing initiatives and campaigns for new and existing products
Assisting with the development of compelling marketing collateral and advertising in accordance with brand guidelines
Managing relationships with marketing and event suppliers, and working closely with them to ensure successful outcomes
Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement of marketing processes and developing solutions
Compliance with all company policies and procedures including WHS legislation requirement
This role combines equal parts marketing and events, so we're seeking candidates who are genuinely passionate about, and skilled in both areas.
Requirements:
1-3 years’ experience in a marketing or events related area (essential)
Proven event and project management experience (essential)
Excellent copywriting and communication skills
High level of organisational skills and attention to detail
Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
Ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines
Proficiency in MS Office
Tertiary qualifications in marketing and/or communications (desirable)
Knowledge of design principles across various marketing channels (desirable)
Experience in financial services and/or education industry (desirable)
