Nushu is looking for a witty Sales and Marketing Manager to help us launch and amplify our brand as the new age go-to period care for women. As our first full-time hire, you’ll play a significant role in developing Nushu’s marketing plan and managing all of our external communications. If you are passionate about women’s health, breaking menstruation taboos, and getting more women on better period management while being sustainable - this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Working closely with Nushu’s founder, you will help establish us as the go-to period underwear brand for the country, positioning us as a trustworthy industry leader. We will look towards you to help us identify new and creative ways to grow the community members, advertise, and retain customers by reaching out to millions of women across the country, ensuring Nushu becomes a market leader.
In This Position, You Will:
• Develop our go to sales and market strategy for launch.
• Rapidly grow Nushu’s social media followers on Instagram, and twitter by creating content, set goals, measure results, and continuously optimize our strategy. You can hire interns and you will be given a small budget to work with vendors to create the best content possible.
• Manage and oversee all external brand communications and copywriting
• Manage our blog page to make sure we adhere to our brand voice. Whilst optimizing SEO words.
• Develop our partnership, affiliate & influencer channel opportunities by identifying the right influencer strategy, negotiating contract terms, and closing deals.
• Manage the content calendar of our social media, blog, and newsletter and identify the best-contributing writers for articles, leveraging our developed SEO strategy for a growth mindset.
• Identify and execute pop-up and event opportunities
• Identify and manage Nushu’s vendors around paid social campaigns, brand marketing projects, etc.
• Work cross-functionally amongst website, content, contributing writers, sales, services, and our clinical board to ensure smooth communication and shared learnings.
• Collaborate with Nushu’s CEO & advisors on thought leadership campaigns, as well as press & media development.
We are a small team with big ambitions. As such, we’re looking to bring on a marketing executive who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, early-stage environment as both a doer and strategist.
What We Are Looking For in a Candidate:
• Marketing executive with a minimum of 3+ years of growth marketing experience in consumer tech (social / gaming platforms, beauty, digital health & wellness, consumer brand)
• You have experience overseeing several of the following: email marketing, content marketing, SEO initiatives, paid marketing campaigns/vendors, influencer marketing, and thought leadership campaigns.
• You’ve successfully managed marketing and launched a consumer startup, and know how to build an audience.
• You understand the full lifecycle of a marketing campaign, and you thrive on getting into the weeds around analytics.
• You are constantly looking to evolve the content strategy so it remains fresh, fun, and relevant to our viewers.
• A team player who is kind, curious, inclusive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• You are determined and don't need to be micro-managed
• Enthusiastic and excited to work in an early-stage, high-growth, operationally-complex technology startup.
• You're an expert in- Content creation (reels in specific), Physical marketing activations, out-of-the-box thinking, sales, Google Analytics, site optimizations, Excel/Google Sheets, and data analysis.
