Job Description
STRATEGIC
· Actively participates with Line Manager in the planning and formulation of long and short term marketing strategies for the region.
· Participates in budgets preparation and forecasts and monitors product consumption in the Region to ensure that they correspond to the budget and forecasts.
· Implements and controls the marketing and promotion activities of the office including marketing activities of assigned region and products to ensure provision of prompt and efficient service to Company’s target customers.

· Recommends to Line Manager appropriate promotions strategy and action based on above profile.
· Establishes and maintains contact with existing and potential companies interested in chemicals and petrochemicals produced in the state of Qatar (“target customers”)
· Liaises with Technical Services Section in consultation with the Line Manager to answer all technical queries and to provide samples as per marketing procedure.
· Proposes and assists in the planning of long, medium and short term marketing strategies. Includes studying the assigned Region and formulating policy proposals based on available products and market requirements.
· Under the supervision of Line Manager participates in negotiating and discuss with target customer their requirement Liaises with potential and existing target customer their requirements in light of product availability, coordinates provisions, incl. quantity, quality, price, , shipping terms, price revisions, phase out procedures, payments, etc.
· Gathers information on and monitor competitors' activities (prices, procedures, credit facilities, etc.) in the assigned Region and recommends appropriate modifications to the marketing strategy in the Region to maintain Company's competitive edge. Includes preparing periodic Region market reports consisting of information regarding competitor products, price trends, forecasts, customer performances, etc.
· Receives and investigates target customer complaints related to non-quality issues (delay, documentation, etc.) and reports to the Line Manager for all quality claims.
· Participates with Technical Services section in investigations regarding all commercial and marketing region related claims.
· To replace Admin/Marketing coordinator whenever deemed necessary, accordingly the job holder must perform all related work and duties upon CM instructions.
