We are seeking a passionate and creative part time Marketing Executive to join our team, working the equivalent of 4 days per week (@30.4hrs per week).

Be at the heart of the brand story for InterContinental Perth City Centre and its three distinctive food and beverage venues by driving end-to-end marketing initiatives that captivate and convert. In this content-led role, you’ll be responsible for the development, execution, and optimisation of targeted digital strategies, crafting compelling content across social media, paid social and search, EDMs, website, and third-party platforms to ensure alignment with brand standards and business objectives. A key aspect of this role involves co-managing stakeholder communication with IHG’s digital marketing services, driving performance across internal systems.

Your day to day

Some of the main responsibilities day to day include:

Social Media Management:

Manage and drive engagement across four social media accounts

Develop and execute content that highlights the uniqueness of the hotel’s culinary experiences, events, and seasonal menus to increase brand visibility and drive patronage and revenue

Identify and collaborate with influencers to enhance brand presence

Proactively engage with relevant accounts through comments, shares, tags, and DMs to build a loyal online community

Monitor and report on social media performance and trends

Digital Marketing:

Co-manage content strategy for digital channels. Execute strategy across social media, website, EDM, paid social and search

Monitor the performance of digital campaigns, drive conversion, and achieve hotel business goals by providing valuable contributions to owned/earned, organic/paid targeted efforts

Support the Marketing Manager in identifying and leveraging new channels to diversify reach and attract transient and leisure guests

Track and analyse campaign performance across channels and make data-driven adjustments to improve campaign effectiveness

Proactively co-manage field marketing services and enhanced website services to ensure timely delivery of projects that meet quality, brand, and budget requirements

Adhere to marketing budgets and work within the parameters in place

Creative:

Develop creative for ads and various marketing materials

Develop content and collateral for meeting, events, hotel, and restaurant promotions.

Assist the Marketing Manager in the planning and production of photoshoots to ensure high-quality, brand-consistent imagery for digital and print use

Manage asset libraries (e.g. photography, video, design files) to ensure easy access, brand consistency, and proper usage rights

Reporting:

Provide regular reports on marketing activities and performance metrics

Analyse data to inform and adjust marketing strategies

More specifically, the successful candidate will have:

Proven experience in a marketing role, preferably within the hospitality industry

Strong skills in digital marketing and social media management

Proficiency in Canva and other graphic design tools

Some experience with videography and photography

Knowledge and experience with of Meta Ads and online advertising strategies

Excellent analytical skills and ability to adjust strategies based on performance data

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
