The role…

As the Marketing Graphic Designer, you will play a pivotal role in the creation and delivery of marketing campaigns to support GlobalData’s ambitious AI growth and brand positioning goals.

Your core role will be centred around building designs for multi-channel content needed for these campaigns, ensuring timely delivery of bold, innovative creations, and monitoring success in order to steer the design strategy going forwards.

Key Responsibilities
• Content creation – design engaging multi-channel content for our website, social media, email, marketing collateral, webinars, and event branding to elevate product marketing and thought leadership marketing campaigns.
• Digital design – develop different types of content for the full breadth of campaigns, including animated videos, social media adverts, GIFs, email imagery, iconography, branded merchandise, digital advertising, branding and logos, and more.
• Testing and analysis – conduct A/B testing and monitor success of designs to understand the effectiveness of your work and identify areas for improvement.
• Reporting – work with the Content Marketing Executive to analyze the success of all content and campaigns to inform decisions about future campaigns and designs.
• Brand identity – develop and defend our brand’s visual identity to drive new brand direction and enhance marketing strategies.
• Competitor analysis – conduct competitor research to identify news ways to present our brand, and drive leads and demand.
• Strategy assistance – work closely with the Marketing Director to develop strategies by presenting new ideas and inspiration for design types and tactics.
• Organisation and planning – build and maintain design plans and calendars to keep up with campaign delivery and forward plan effectively.

Role Requirements
• Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro or equivalent).
• Good video editing and animation/motion graphic skills (this is essential).
• Strong sense of design principles, typography, and layout
• An understanding of how design impacts marketing success
• Graphic design degree or equivalent qualifications/experience
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Graphic Designer role, preferably working with a Marketing team.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent time management and organisation skills
