As the Marketing Intern, you’ll play an integral role in supporting the marketing and communications efforts that fuel Vivo’s mission.

This is a hands-on opportunity to bring ideas to life, connect with the community, and grow your skillset in a values-led organization.

You’ll work closely with our Marketing Manager and cross-functional teams to craft compelling content, support community events, analyze campaign performance, and shape strategies that amplify our message —one that matters.

What You’ll Do

Content Creation: Draft engaging content for social media, newsletters, blog posts, and internal communications.
Social Media Management: Assist in scheduling, monitoring, and reporting on posts across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
Campaign Support: Help develop and execute campaigns that promote events, programs, and strategic initiatives.
Event Marketing: Provide coordination support for community events, activations, and onsite promotional efforts.
Research & Insights: Conduct competitor and market research to identify trends and best practices.
Brand Stewardship: Ensure all content aligns with Vivo’s voice, visual identity, and mission.
Measurement & Reporting: Assist in tracking and analyzing marketing metrics, compiling performance reports to guide decision-making.
Who You Are

We’re looking for someone who is:

Curious, collaborative, and community-minded
A strong communicator (both written and visual)
Organized and adaptable, with a bias for action
Willing to learn and ready to contribute
Your Qualifications

Enrolled in or recently graduated from a diploma or degree program in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field
Minimum 1 year of experience in a marketing or communications role (co-ops or student projects welcome)
Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Hootsuite)
Basic understanding of digital marketing principles and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Canva, Mailchimp)
Experience in non-profit, recreation, or community-based organizations is an asset
Comfort with Adobe Creative Suite or video editing tools is a bonus!
Why Join Vivo?

Be part of a purpose-driven organization creating real community impact
Gain practical experience in a dynamic and supportive environment
Collaborate with a passionate, cross-functional team that values learning and innovation
Access to facility perks and programs (yes — that includes a free gym membership!)
